The St Vincent’s Intensive Care Research project was established with the generosity and commitment of Mr John Parthenis, a long-time supporter of the Curran Foundation and a past patient in the St Vincent’s Intensive Care Unit.

With support from John and his network of friends, family and colleagues, the Curran Foundation provides grants to employ a Research Co-ordinator who works with the Intensive Care Specialists in collecting and analysing data on treatment protocols and drug trials.

The information is shared with other Intensive Care Units across Australasia to assess and ultimately improve clinical outcomes for critically ill people everywhere.
